In half an hour you can make your Profile and Talent card clear enough to be found on Cyprus4People. You don’t need a “perfect” profile — you need to stop being invisible.
What “findable” means here
Findable doesn’t mean famous. It means someone looking for a skill, availability, or a profile like yours can open you, understand you, and decide to message you without guessing.
If photo, role, and key signals are missing, the card exists but it doesn’t work for you.
Two cards, one goal
On Cyprus4People you rely on two different pieces:
- Profile (People) — who you are in the community · Discover → People
- Talent (WorkScout) — what you do professionally · WorkScout → Talents
For professional findability, Talent matters most. Profile should stay coherent (name, photo, presence), but it doesn’t replace the Talent card.
For definitions and edit paths, see the Docs What is a Talent card and How to edit your Profile. Here we stay on priority.
The 30 minutes that matter
Work in this order — then stop.
- Decent photo and cover — people can tell who you are; no confusing placeholders.
- Clear role / craft — one line a stranger understands.
- Real skills — few and precise, not a wall of words.
- Open to work (if you need it) — honest, without a desperate tone.
- Best for on Talent — who your profile is for (1–3 choices, not all of them).
- Short bio — 2–4 sentences: what you do and what you’re looking for / offering.
If you finish early, reread the card as a stranger. If you can’t tell what you do in ten seconds, fix the role line and the bio.
What to leave for later
- A huge portfolio or endless activity
- A second desk / multi-Talent setup
- Perfection on every optional field
That comes after you’re already findable.
Checklist
- Readable Profile / Talent photo
- Role clear in one line
- Essential skills filled in
- Open to work matches what you actually want
- Best for chosen with intent
- Short bio, not empty
- You’ve opened the public card and recognise yourself
Outcome
You know what to fix now so you don’t stay invisible on Cyprus4People — and what you can postpone without guilt.
