Content

Beyond your own Talent card you can maintain others in WorkScout — as a scout, agent, recruiter, or desk. Below you will find the differences between your own card and managed cards, and what happens when the person represented wants to run theirs themselves (account + claim).

What a Talent is and how to link yours to the Profile: What is a Talent card.

Two ways to use Talent

Mode What it means
Your own Your professional card. On the Profile, under Settings → Additional profiles, choose that card in the Talent card field
Managed Professional cards for other people that you maintain as a manager. You do not link them on your Profile — those people often do not have an account yet

Example: Marco

Marco is a Cyprus4People member: he has his Profile and his Talent. He opens the Profile for editing → Settings → Additional profiles → Talent card and selects his own professional card. Cyprus4People then knows which Talent belongs to Marco.

Marco then creates more Talent cards — say thirty — for artists, candidates, or professionals he presents as a scout / agent / desk. Those people usually do not have an account; the cards stay under Marco’s care. They do not go through Talent card on Marco’s Profile (that field picks one Talent: his).

Your own card

  1. Create or complete one Talent in WorkScout — yours.
  2. Open the Profile for editing.
  3. In Settings → Additional profiles, in the Talent card field, select that card.

Profile details: How to edit your Profile.

Managed cards

For each card that represents someone else:

  1. Create/complete the Talent with that person’s professional details.
  2. Keep it under your management (do not set it as Talent card on your Profile).
  3. Keep role, Open to work, Career, Activities, and contacts up to date.

When the person wants to manage the card themselves

  1. They create an account on Cyprus4People.
  2. They claim the Talent card that represents them.

If the claim is approved, the card moves under their control (and they may receive the verified badge). Then, on their Profile, under Settings → Additional profiles, they can choose that card as Talent card.

Staying manager after a claim is not automatic: it depends on how the case is handled.

What not to do

  • Do not confuse Jobs (a time-limited job offer) with Talent (a permanent professional card).
  • Do not treat Business as a substitute for an individual Talent card.

FAQ

Do the people on Talent cards I manage need an account?

No. Often they do not. An account is needed when they want to manage their card themselves (via claim).

On the Profile (not on the Talent): Settings → Additional profiles → Talent card.

No. Talent card is a single choice: your professional card.

For people who need more slots beyond their own card (desks / intermediaries): volume of cards to maintain, not a second Profile.

Do not assume so. A claim moves the card under the control of the person who claimed it. If you need to stay an operator, open a Support ticket.
