Content

How to open and update your Profile (People) card. You do not create it from scratch, and there is no separate “publish / unpublish” step: you change the fields and use Save changes.

Account, Profile, and Talent

What What it is for
Account Platform access — login, password, settings at /dashboard/account/
Profile (People) Your person card in the People archive (/profiles/) — who you are in the community
Talent Your professional card in WorkScout (/talents/) — skills, availability, Open to work. Not the Profile

You need an active account. Registration: How to create a Cyprus4People account.

Your Profile is tied to you as a member: you do not use Create / New Profile to invent a new one. You open your card and update it.

How to open your card for editing

Sign in, then use one of these paths:

1 — From Discover → People

  1. Menu Discover → People (or open /profiles/).
  2. Find your card in the list.
  3. Click the edit icon on the card.

Your Profile edit form opens.

2 — From the header user menu

  1. In the header, open the menu from your avatar (user menu).
  2. Click your name.

That also opens your Profile for editing.

Do not use the Talent / WorkScout path if you only want to update your People card.

Fill in the main fields

Among others, the form includes:

  • Profile name — how you appear on the platform
  • First name / Last name
  • Gender, Birth date, Birthplace / location
  • Timezone
  • In brief (optional)
  • Contacts and links (email, phone, website, social — many optional)

Use Next step / Previous step and Save changes at the bottom of the form.

Content & Interests

In the Content & Interests step (and sections such as Circles) you set Topics, Interests, and related signals that help matching and discovery. Overview: Topics, Interests, and Best for — how they work.

Visibility & Privacy

The Visibility & Privacy step controls who can see gender, birthday, email, followers, and similar fields. Set only what you want to share.

Talent: the professional card (not the Profile)

Talent is the professional card (WorkScout): role, skills, Open to work, career. It stays separate from your person card in People.

To say which Talent is yours, you do it from the Profile — not from the Talent card:

  1. Open your Profile for editing.
  2. Go to Settings → Additional profiles.
  3. In the Talent card field, choose your professional card (single choice).

If you manage Talent cards for other people (scout, agent, desk), those cards stay under your care until someone claims them — you do not select them as Talent card on your Profile. See Managing multiple Talent cards.

Save and check

  1. Complete the steps and use Save changes.
  2. Check the public card (name, photo, text).
  3. Also check the card under Discover → People (/profiles/).

There is no member Unpublish on Profile: saving updates the card that stays in the People catalogue.

This page does not cover Business or the full Talent form.
