Spotlight!

Costavera Alimentari S.r.l. is a privately held packer in the Collecchio industrial belt. The Costanzi family opened the plant in 2011. Today 78 people run 9,200 m² across three halls: organic extra-virgin filling from contracted Apennine groves, a bronze-die pasta line (semolina and wholewheat), and a dry-goods hall for passata, pulses, and gift tins. A small roasting room supplies HORECA espresso under Costavera Caffè — a kitchen SKU, not a high-street café brand. VAT IT02488160348; REA PR-248119.

We sell branded retail (500 ml glass oil, 500 g pasta, 690 g passata) and foodservice (5 L oil tins, 3 kg pasta cartons, 2 kg espresso bags). Private-label runs start from agreed MOQs. Lots are coded; organic SKUs carry EU organic marks; gluten-free pasta is a separate line with its own allergen protocol. IFS Food is current on the Collecchio site.

Exports are about 40% of volume: Germany, the United Kingdom, Greece, and Malta through importers. Cyprus is the next priority — hotel F&B, specialty grocery, and households who cook Italian at home. We have no Cyprus office. The export desk met buyers at Cibus in Parma and on one Limassol HORECA visit in March 2025. We want a structured distributor, not one-off containers.

Technical sheets, allergen tables, and Incoterms (EXW Collecchio, FCA La Spezia, CIF Limassol) come from the export desk. Household crates for Cyprus families are listed under Costavera; this page is the Italian company for importers and hotel buyers.

FAQ

Do you sell to households from this page?

No. This profile is the legal entity for importers, distributors, and hotel buyers. Household crates and family subscriptions sit under Costavera.

Grocery: one mixed EUR-pallet of oil, pasta, and passata (about 650-800 kg depending on mix). HORECA: a starter pallet of 5 L oil, 3 kg pasta, and 2 kg espresso — see Costavera HORECA Starter Pallet.

IFS Food at the Collecchio plant, HACCP, EU organic on marked SKUs, and full allergen labelling. Halal and kosher lots are scheduled twice a year — ask the export desk for the calendar.

Yes. English-Greek artwork is standard for island retail. Lead time is five to six weeks after print-ready files. We do not print Turkish on the standard run.

EXW Collecchio, FCA La Spezia, or CIF Limassol / Larnaca with a nominated forwarder. We do not run our own Cyprus warehouse; a local distributor would hold stock.

No. We pack and brand oil from contracted groves; we are not a crush-only mill. Pasta and passata are produced in-house. Espresso is roasted on site for HORECA bags.

Oil 500 ml: 8,000 bottles. Pasta 500 g: 12,000 packs. Passata: 6,000 jars. Artwork and nutritional tables are included; glass moulds are Costavera standard unless you pay a mould fee.

Not a standing contract. Occasional sample shipments via a freight agent. We want one exclusive or semi-exclusive grocery + HORECA partner for the island.

Yes, for now: the HORECA starter pallet is the trial path. After a distributor is appointed, chefs order through that partner.

Export contracts: Giulia Costanzi, commercial director. Quality: Marco Bellini, plant QA. Both reply in Italian or English; Greek on the Cyprus desk when a visit is booked.

Oil: 18 months from fill. Dry pasta: 24 months. Passata: 24 months unopened. Espresso beans: 12 months; grind only on request for HORECA.

Not until a distributor or liaison is in place. Warehouse and sales roles would sit with the local partner, not with this Italian company.
