A resting 12-lead ECG records the electrical activity of your heart while you lie comfortably. At Mediterranean Heart Centre this service includes the tracing and a cardiologist report from Dr Elena Michaelides – useful for palpitations work-ups, pre-treatment baselines, or when your GP has asked for a specialist read.

The test is quick and non-invasive. Results are explained in plain language; if something needs urgent hospital attention we say so clearly and direct you appropriately. This is an outpatient diagnostic, not an emergency ECG pathway.

Wear a top that is easy to adjust; avoid lotions on the chest beforehand when possible.
