Vrisoudia is a sandy Protaras public beach with a Blue Flag still flying in July 2026.
Sand underfoot on the Paralimni coast. This shore still flew a Blue Flag in July 2026. Organised summer shore, services on the ground. This is the Agia Napa–Protaras east coast that most visitors mean by a Cyprus beach day: a developed seafront, short hops between bays, and a long summer season. In July and August the sand fills from late morning — start early if you want space. Sunbeds, showers, and snack bars appear where operators set them; use only what you can see, and bring shade, water, and a snack if the stretch looks quiet. Mornings are usually the calmest water; check the sea and the wind before you swim, especially with children. Getting here is easiest by car or resort shuttle; parking is whatever the seafront and side streets still have when you arrive, so walking the last few minutes is often the simple move. Take rubbish with you when bins overflow.
