Overview

The shore sits at Pomos. Packed ground underfoot. This is Chrysochous Bay on the west: Latchi harbour, Polis, and the boats that run toward Akamas. You arrive by car along the bay road; the harbour is the obvious landmark. The swim is a harbour-side or village shore, useful before or after a boat. Pack shade, water, and shoes unless you see services, and confirm the underfoot with your own eyes — mixed gravel and sand are common here. Mornings are usually calmer; afternoons can pick up wind off the bay. Parking is the harbour and village approaches. Take rubbish with you, and leave the working harbour clear of beach gear.
