The shore sits at Rizokarpaso. Sand underfoot. This is the Karpaz / Famagusta village coast, a long drive from Agia Napa or Nicosia and far from the east-coast resort strip. You arrive by car through village roads; allow time. Expect a quiet, self-sufficient swim: shade, water, and food come with you unless you can see a kiosk on the day. Summer heat is sharp on open shore — mornings and late afternoon are kinder. Check the sea before you go in. Leave dunes and nests alone where you see them, and take every scrap of rubbish with you.
