Overview

The beach sits on the Larnaca seafront, with shallow water and a busy summer strip of cafés and nightlife behind the sand. Together with Finikoudes and Kastella it still flew a Blue Flag in July 2026. Easy to reach without a rural drive; expect aircraft on approach and a crowd after work in season. Confirm lifeguard cover and rentals on the day. This is Larnaca city swimming: a long urban seafront, the promenade, and the airport approaches in the background. You reach it on foot from the town, by city bus, or by a short drive. Summer evenings are busy with walkers and café terraces behind the sand. Facilities are municipal and seasonal — trust what is staffed when you arrive, and pack shade and water if the stretch looks quiet. The water is often shallow near the sand; still read it before you swim, especially after winter storms. Parking is the seafront and side streets; walking the promenade is part of the visit.
