Overview

The beach sits at Pegeia, next to the Coral Bay strip. Together with Coral Bay and Laourou it still flew a Blue Flag in July 2026. Pack shade unless you see rentals, treat facilities as seasonal, and check the sea — this is an open Mediterranean shore. This is the Peyia / Akamas west coast: limestone headlands, coves, and a mix of organised bays and wilder shore. You typically arrive by car from Paphos; some coves need a track or a boat from Latchi. Summer days are hot on open rock and sand — mornings and late afternoon are kinder. Bring more water than you think, and shade, unless you can see rentals on the day. Check the sea before you swim: west-coast swell can change quickly. Park only where the ground is already used; leave dunes, nests, and marked protection zones alone, and take every scrap of rubbish home.
