Asinou sits at Nicosia District. This is a Nicosia-area picnic stop. Drive or bus into the capital or a nearby village, then walk the last stretch to the tables. Summer shade is scarce at noon — mornings and late afternoons are cooler. Take all rubbish with you. Most public picnic areas stay open whenever the park or site gate is unlocked — still check any board for seasonal closing or fire bans. Entry is usually free for ordinary public picnic areas.
