She arrived in spring 2022, all paws and promise, and grew into the dog Navarinou already greets by name. The long walk is the morning one: out from the flat, through the municipal gardens, and onto the Molos while the promenade is still quiet. She swims when the sea is flat, then dries under a tree. By late morning in July she is back indoors. A gold coat and hot Limassol stone do not mix.

Training stays short and daily. Recall on the open promenade, a settle beside a café chair, loose-lead walking when scooters pass. She is easy with people and polite with other dogs when the hello is calm. She does not need snacks from strangers.

Evenings are a shorter loop and a brush a few times a week so the sofa survives. Water is always down. Her birthday is 18 March 2022. If you see a large golden Labrador checking back toward her person on the seafront, that is Nuri.

When the sea is rough the weekend walk turns inland, through the older streets behind the gardens, still on the lead where the pavements narrow. She travels in a harness, windows cracked, and only for that. Meals are two measured bowls, nothing from the table, and a chew after the evening brush. Neighbours on Navarinou already use her name. The card is so anyone who meets the golden dog on the Molos can do the same.
