The Olive Tree Taverna is a family-run Peyia restaurant above Coral Bay, serving home-style Cypriot meze, grilled fish, and seasonal specials in a courtyard and sea-view terrace. English and Greek spoken.
For over a decade we have welcomed locals, holidaymakers, and Akamas day-trippers looking for honest village cooking — not hotel buffet fare. Start with olives, tahini, and village salad; move through halloumi, sheftalia, and catch-of-the-day when the Paphos fish market delivers. Vegetarian meze is always available on request, and we mark plant-based dishes clearly on the menu.
Lunch and dinner service runs in a shaded courtyard under an old olive tree and on a small sea-glimpse terrace when the breeze is kind. Summer evenings fill early; winter brings heaters and a quieter village pace. We host occasional Kopiaste Sundays and seasonal wine evenings — ask Christina for the next date when you book.
Reservations are strongly recommended for Sunday lunch and August weekends. We are not a nightclub, not a delivery-only brand, and not a franchise — one address, one kitchen, overlooking the Peyia coast toward Coral Bay.
